Ane Tjugen Røynstrand
Illustrator, farmer, teacher and cheese maker
I am a trained teacher and have worked in primary school for 15 years. Now I draw and paint in my small studio on the farm that I run together with my husband. I have illustrated several children’s books, and I find inspiration in family life, everyday joys, and nature. I love humorous and lively illustrations where communication between the characters is at the center. I work both digitally and traditionally – and often combine the two. I am ready for both small and large projects, so feel free to get in touch!

“The villain and the cucumber”
Join the hungry villain in a wild chase after the cucumber that refuses to be eaten. “The Villain and the Cucumber” is full of rhyme and rhythm, ice cream and farts. The book is illustrated by me and written by Kristoffer Løset Øpstad.
“What is Vilmer allowed to do?” and “Vilmer and Ask fall out” are written by Camilla Wandahl and illustrated by me. They are the first books about Vilmer and his family.
